The American Immigrant Wall of Honor®

Imagine a place that celebrates your family at one of America’s most cherished National Monuments. That’s Ellis Island and The American Immigrant Wall of Honor.

A nation that celebrates our immigrant heritage also celebrates YOUR own family’s heritage on the Wall of Honor. You can join the thousands of other proud Americans who have chosen to honor their families and their future at this prestigious monument — the only national monument where you can place a name in tribute. Whether they arrived in America on the Mayflower, were part of a forced migration, entered through Ellis Island, or just came over on a jet plane, their names can be inscribed for posterity in celebration of your family’s American story.

The American Immigrant Wall of Honor is located at the Ellis Island Immigration Museum. Comprised of more than 750 individual stainless steel panels, the Wall is inscribed with over 700,000 names representing virtually every nationality, making it the largest wall of names in the world. Situated just outside the Great Hall at Ellis Island and directly within view of the magnificent Statue of Liberty, the Wall of Honor has touched the lives of the millions of Americans whose loved ones’ names are memorialized there forever. Let your family be among them!
